Philippine garment exporters would shift their focus towards European and Canadian quota markets this year due to the projected slowdown of the US economy, the country's major market, an official told Asia Pulse today. "We hope to increase our garments exports to the European Union, Canada and other non-quota countries this year while maintaining growth in the US," Garments and Textile Exports Board (GTEB) executive director Felicitas Agoncillo-Reyes said.
