AUSTRALIA: Fast Retailing to open first Uniqlo store in 2013

Fast Retailing plans to enter Australia with its Uniqlo casual clothing chain by the end of August next year.
The Japanese company today (18 September) said it has set up a subsidiary, based in Melbourne, to launch operations in the country.
A number of fast fashion retailers have entered Australia in recent years, with Inditex opening its first Zara store and Arcadia's Topshop entering the market during 2011.
