Fila, the Italian sportswear brand, is to be sold for more than £100m, the Sunday Telegraph reported. Potential bidders are understood to include sporting giants Nike, Adidas and Reebok. HdP, Fila's major shareholder, has retained NM Rothschild, the investment bank, to find a buyer for the struggling sports brand. In 2000 Fila Holding's losses mounted to $132m on sales of $2bn. It has a market value of $106m.
