Sales of colourful clothing are soaring in South Korea as millions of soccer fans celebrate the success of their country in the World Cup finals by splashing out on vivid workwear, T-shirts and tops. Dubbed the "Red Syndrome" after the colour of the side's kit, the upsurge has caught many retailers and clothing companies off guard with many being left with empty shelves as they struggle to keep up with the demand from a traditionally "conservative" fashion nation.
