US: G-III Apparel share offering to fund acquisitions

G-III Apparel Group Ltd is planning to sell shares of its common stock in a public offering to support the growth of its business, including possible acquisitions.

The New York based company, which sells outerwear and handbags under its own Andrew Marc and Marc New York brands and has fashion licenses under the Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi's and Dockers brands did not reveal the number or cost of the shares.
