Leading shareholders of troubled skatewear and footwear maker Globe International Ltd have rejected plans to take the company private, the Australian Financial Review reported on Tuesday. The Melbourne-based firm, which recently posted a 98 per cent plunge in first half net profit and saw its chairman and CEO resign, was founded in 1983 by professional skateboard brothers Stephen and Peter Hill.
