Gucci Group has reshuffled two executive positions following the resignation of James McArthur, its executive vice president and director of strategy and acquisitions who also oversaw the fashion house Balenciaga.

Gucci's chief financial officer Alexis Babeau is to take on responsibility for strategy and acquisitions, and Isabelle Guichot, currently CEO of the group's designer shoe label Sergio Rossi, will take over as Balenciaga CEO. The search is now underway for a new CEO at Sergio Rossi.
Gucci Group is the luxury arm of France's PPR, whose brands also include Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta, Stella McCartney and Yves Saint Laurent.
