Men's apparel company Haggar Clothing has announced a multi-year licence agreement with International Legwear Group (ILG).
The deal will see ILG market and sell socks and hosiery through the Haggar brand in the US, Mexico and Canada.
The Haggar socks collection will be available through retail this autumn.
"ILG brings 30 years of industry experience and enthusiasm to this category and we are excited about this addition to the Haggar family of products that our partnership will bring to consumers," said Haggar senior vice president Jon Ragsdale.
Located in Hildebran, North Carolina, ILG owns the Peds brand. The company also manufactures and sells socks and legwear through the auspices of other brands such as Walls, Reebok, and Starter, as well as private label programmes.
"Haggar and ILG share a long corporate history of dressing the working man for success," said ILG CEO Kathy Willis.
"We understand the expectations of the Haggar customer.
Haggar Clothing manufactures casual and dress trousers as well as suit separates and has a licensing programme offering head-to-toe clothing options.
