US: HGI Funding closes Frederick's of Hollywood takeover
A consortium including HGI Funding has completed the takeover of intimate apparel retailer Frederick's of Hollywood Group in a deal worth US$24.8m.

The merger was approved by shareholders last week.
"We look forward to entering this new phase of the company's history and having access to the capital resources needed to implement a turnaround strategy that can take full advantage of the Frederick's of Hollywood brand," said company chairman and CEO Thomas Lynch.
Frederick's operates 94 retail stores, a catalogue and an online business.
