SERBIA: H&M opens first store in capital Belgrade

Swedish fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) is to open its first store in Serbia this autumn.
The store will be in Belgrade, the country's capital, H&M said in a statement yesterday (9 January).
"We look very much forward to opening the first H&M store in Belgrade. We are excited to be able to offer fashion and quality at the best price to our customers in Serbia from autumn 2013," said CEO Karl-Johan Persson.
The company said it also plans to open stores in Chile, Estonia, Lithuania and via a franchise in Indonesia this year.
