SWEDEN: H&M same-store sales down 6% in April

Swedish fashion chain H&M has posted a 6% drop in same-store sales, it said today (17 May).
However, the opening of new stores helped push total sales up by 4% during the month, compared with the same period last year.
The retailer, which employs 76,000 people worldwide, operated 2,037 stores on 30 April 2010, versus 1,804 the year before.
