CANADA: Hudson's Bay promotes DiLeo to EVP of stores

Canadian department store retailer Hudson's Bay has promoted Eileen DiLeo to executive vice president of stores for its Lord & Taylor and Hudson's Bay brands, replacing Debbie Edwards who is retiring.

DiLeo, who has most served as senior vice president of store operations for Hudson's Bay and Lord & Taylor, will take up her position on 1 May and report to company president Bonnie Brooks.

DiLeo started her career at department store operator Bloomingdales before joining May Department Stores, where she progressed from sales roles into senior operations positions.

TORONTO, Feb. 13, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hudson's Bay Company ("HBC") (www.hbc.com) (HBC.TO) announced today that Debbie Edwards, Executive Vice President, Stores, Hudson's Bay and Lord & Taylor, will retire May 1, 2013 and will be replaced by Eileen DiLeo, reporting directly to Bonnie Brooks, President, HBC.

With 30 years' retail experience, Ms. DiLeo began her career at Bloomingdales and went on to join May Department Stores where she progressed from sales roles to store management and into senior operations roles at Lord & Taylor. Since 2012, she has held the position of Senior Vice President, Store Operations, Hudson's Bay and Lord & Taylor, where she has been integral over the last year in introducing best practices and creating synergy across the banners.
