By Katie Smith | 8 March 2013
The owner of the iconic Hunter wellington boot brand has appointed Alasdhair Willis creative director as it looks to expand its footwear business.
Willis will report to James Seuss, CEO of Hunter Boot, and will be based in London.
Looking forward, the company said it will focus on expanding its footwear business and build on opportunities in the outerwear category. Hunter also revealed plans to launch branded shop-in-shops in key markets and flagship stores across the world.
Seuss said: "Alasdhair Willis brings amazing creative talent, style, and commercial realisation to the helm of Hunter. His experience with British heritage brands and developing brands globally makes him an ideal choice to lead the creative team at Hunter as we enter our next stage of growth.
"Alasdhair will define the vision for the brand and develop our creative voice, while working closely with our strong commercial team to bring the world of Hunter to consumers worldwide."
