Danish fashion chain IC Companys on Monday announced it swung into the black in fiscal 2002 as it enjoyed a pre-tax profit of $8.9 million compared to a year-ago pre-tax loss of $25m. The Copenhagen-based firm, whose brands include Jackpot, InWear and Matinique, said turnover fell to $385m from $425m in 2001 but operating profit jumped to $17.8m from $13.4m in the year-ago period.
