Spanish fashion retailer Inditex has opened its first two Pull&Bear outlets in Singapore, and its first Massimo Dutti store in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The expansion is part of the group's strategy to double its presence in the Asia Pacific area in 2006.

It means Inditex now has 53 stores in the region, including those under its Zara and Massimo Dutti brands, of which 20 were launched in 2006.

Pull&Bear already has 449 outlets in 25 countries, while Massimo Dutti has 387 stores in 28 countries.
