Spanish textiles firm The Inditex Group is to launch its Massimo Dutti retail chain in the South Korean market.

It begins with the opening of two shops in the Garosu and Gangnam neighbourhoods, two of Seoul’s main shopping destinations.

The stores, more than 300 square metres and 200 square metres in size, are outfitted with dark marble, leather and walnut, a statement said. Both locations sell Massimo Dutti’s women's and men's collections.

Inditex has 27 stores in South Korea, having first ventured into the country in 2008 with a Zara outlet. Massimo Dutti has 520 shops in 48 countries.
