US: International Textile Group names Moore as CFO

International Textile Group Inc has named Willis C 'Billy' Moore as its executive vice president and chief financial officer, replacing Gary L Smith who is leaving the company to pursue other career opportunities.

Moore previously served as vice president and CFO for Polymer Group Inc, a $1.1bn multinational public company.

Prior to this he was executive vice president and CFO for yarn maker Unifi Inc.

"Billy's success in the overall financial management of domestic and multinational companies is in line with ITG's strategy, and we believe he will have a positive impact on the future growth of the company," said Joseph L Gorga, president and CEO.

Greensboro, North Carolina-based ITG produces automotive safety, apparel, government uniform, technical and specialty textiles. Its business units include Cone Denim and Burlington WorldWide, which make apparel fabrics.
