Polymer and fibre producer Invista Performance Technologies has acquired sole rights to various process technologies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The business acquired the rights from La Seda de Barcelona, ending a regional joint venture between the two companies established in 2000.

“To complement our leading PTA technology, we also offer leading PET technology that, amongst other benefits, provides the maximum plant capacity available in a single stream design,” explained Invista general manager Mike Pickens.

“We are delighted to now be able to work directly with our customers in this region.”
