USA: Justwin Launches Web-Based Collaboration Solution
Justwin Technologies Inc has announced details of its new web-based collaboration solution, developed in conjunction with the company's existing and prospective clients to address the challenges faced in today's global business environment.
According to the company, Justwin WebConnect delivers the product data management, supply chain collaboration, and workflow and event tracking capabilities of existing Justwin software modules in a completely new, web-centric software model.
It features a new, entirely browser-based user interface, and is designed to provide end-users with simple and secure access through the Internet. Justwin WebConnect joins the existing suite of Justwin CPC (collaborative product commerce) solutions including industry-specific applications for apparel, textile, and footwear.
"With Justwin WebConnect, our primary goal was to complete the connection of our core technology with the Internet while maximising image-based reference and navigation to provide simple and secure collaboration for our clients", states Milton O'Dell, Justwin chief technology officer.
"Leveraging the latest in web technology, we have greatly simplified the deployment of our solutions and streamlined the information exchange that partners in a supply chain need to compete in today's fast-paced global business environment."
The new software can be personalised to meet the collaboration needs of the industries and individual companies served by Justwin. It is also 100 per cent web-centric, requiring only an Internet browser and online connection to enable access to the highly secured and individualised information that companies need to make timely and accurate decisions.
This simple and secure access is critical in the increasingly global design, product development, and pre-production processes - as well as for tracking and managing the myriad of events that must take place on schedule throughout the supply chain in order to bring products to market faster and at the desired price point.
Said Rick Ludolph, executive vice president at Justwin: "Many companies tell us that effective collaboration, both within the company and throughout the supply chain, is quickly becoming a key competitive strategy in today's marketplace. Justwin WebConnect has been developed to help these companies, as part of this strategic business approach, to empower their teams with the accurate and up-to-date information they need to collaborate and win."
