Apparel manufacturer Kenneth Cole Productions Inc on Monday boosted its profit and revenue forecast for the first and second quarters.

The New York-based company said it now expects first-quarter earnings of 26 cents a share, up from earlier projections of 16-18 cents a share, with revenue hitting $92 million instead of its previous projection of $88m-$92m.

It added it now sees second-quarter earnings in the range of 14-16 cents a share, up from earlier projections of 10-12 cents a share, with revenue in the $90m-$93m range instead of $87m-$92m.
