Outdoor goods firm Lafuma reported a 17% fall in net profit for the fiscal year ended 30 September.

Lafuma, blaming troublesome trading at its camping gear business and anti-dumping duties, said profit totalled EUR4.5m (US$5.94m) compared to EUR5.4m a year ago.

Sales rose 21% to EUR243m during the year.

Lafuma remains optimistic on boosting financial results in 2006/07, however.
