US: LDLA Clothing boosts business insight with fashion ERP

US-based apparel maker LDLA Clothing has gone live on NGC's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in a move that will help provide the insight needed to efficiently manage its expanding business.

The fast-growing firm supplies private-label and branded merchandise to major department stores and specialty retailers. The company ships under the label 'Living Doll LA,' and manufactures over 65% of its merchandise in Los Angeles.

 "LDLA Clothing is able to run highly detailed reports that give the company fast access to information and significant insight into business performance," said Richard Swartz, CFO, LDLA Clothing.

"We are able to better understand customer profitability, inventory levels, product information, and many other aspects of our operations."

The fashion ERP system includes a configurable EDI system, financial accounting, flexible reporting features, and handles key business functions including Customer Order Processing, Purchasing, Manufacturing/Contractor Management, Inventory Control, Allocation, Distribution and Warehouse Management.
