Luxury goods giant LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA on Thursday posted a better-than-expected 28.7 per cent year-on-year jump in 2002 operating profit and said it expects a similar result for 2003. The company, whose fashion brands include Fendi and Kenzo, reported an operating profit of 2.008 billion euros ($2.2bn) which it said was better than its predicted increase of at least 25 per cent.
