US: Management shake-up at Phillips-Van Heusen
Phillips-Van Heusen has named Allen Sirkin as its new president and chief operating officer following the appointment of Emanuel Chirico to the chief executive officer post in February.
Sirkin has been with the company for more than 20 years, and has held senior positions in its dress shirt, sportswear, footwear and retail divisions. Chirico was previously president and COO.
In addition, Kenneth Duane was appointed to the new position of vice chairman, wholesale apparel, and will be responsible for the company's sportswear and dress shirt groups. He was previously vice chairman, sportswear.
Phillips-Van Heusen has also named Michael Shaffer chief financial officer. "We are very fortunate at PVH to have a deep and talented group of executives managing our businesses," said Chirico.
