ALGERIA: Mango to open first store in Algiers

Mango, Spain's second largest exporter of women's fashion, has opened its first store in Algeria and says it is planning further expansion in the country.

The new store in Algiers could soon be followed by shops in cities such as Oran and Constantine the retailer said.
 
Mango currently has 1,112 stores in 90 countries, and plans to open more than 180 shops this year.
 
Its turnover in the 2007 financial year was EUR1.33bn (US$2.06bn) through both company and franchise-owned stores - up 6% on 2006.
