UK: Marchpole names Phillips executive chairman

Chris Phillips, the non-executive chairman of fashion brand management group Marchpole Holdings, is to assume the full-time role of executive chairman with immediate effect.

Michael Morris, executive deputy chairman of Marchpole, said: "Since joining the board in 2002, Chris has been a valuable member of the management team and I am delighted that he is taking on the role of executive chairman.

"We look forward to the next stage of the company's development and the board is committed to delivering solid growth and better shareholder value over the medium to long term."

UK-based Marchpole designs, produces and sells clothing under the Boateng, Emanuel Ungaro, Ungaro Homme, Jean Charles de Castelbajac ('JCC'), Jean Charles de Castelbajac/Rossignol, Jean Charles de Castelbajac/Okaidi, Jean Charles de Castelbajac/New Era, JCDC/Lee Cooper and Homebody and Homemummy brands.
