Metallic mesh and microfibres set the new season's mood at the Milan-based house of Miti which predicts a major increase in demand for fabrics suitable for multi-layer garments, especially in the sphere of "imaginatively designed" beachwear. It aims to satisfy this demand with qualities such as its recently introduced range of semi-rigid, high gloss polyester meshes. These include a fine gauge mesh that will be marketed as Pop and a coarser, companion fabric called Squalo.
