Retail resources provider National In-Store (NIS) has named Andrea Young as vice president of business development.

In her new position, Young will be based in the western region of the US, working with manufacturers and retailers from Texas to California.

NIS founder and CEO Tom Dowdy said: "Ms. Young brings the expertise that will further and strengthen our west coast expansion. Her experience as a corporate leader clearly shows her formidable skills in developing strategic partnership programs, and her fierce dedication to customer service is a quality we highly value."

Young is a member of the Network of Executive Women (NEW), Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA), and the National Association of Women's Business Owners (NAWBO).

She commented: "My desire to join NIS was fuelled by the company's strong leadership, progressive strategic direction and robust growth. These essential elements will allow us to make a major market penetration in the west. I am delighted to be an integral part of that effort."
