US: Neiman Marcus launches mobile ecommerce site

Retailer Neiman Marcus has launched an enhanced mobile version of its main website to target shoppers using mobile phones and other portable devices.

Mobile users will automatically be redirected to the site when they type in the standard Neiman Marcus url, thanks to the new site which was created with tech specialist Usablenet.

The company’s full merchandise assortment is available, as well as customers’ full account management details, order history and status, and store locations.

“Mobile shopping is an extremely important part of our overall internet retail strategy,” said Gerald Barnes, president of Neiman Marcus Direct.
