USA: New Balance Eyes International Growth
The president of sports shoe producer New Balance on Tuesday announced an aggressive marketing campaign in a bid to win a greater slice of the lucrative international market. Jim Tompkins told a press conference in Seoul he wants to lift his firm's current share of the South Korean market from two per cent to 10 per cent by 2007, and boost total international sales by 50 per cent during that period.
