New cutting system to improve speed and accuracy
Software provider Gerber Technology is to introduce a new cutting system which it says will improve speed and accuracy for apparel manufacturers.
The Paragon HX Cutter features several enhancements for increased throughput and improved user experience, including a new dual drill system for improved speed and accuracy and cutting head modifications for reduced noise.
It will also be available in an HX-L configuration designed specifically for lingerie and other delicate applications, and HX-A for the automotive industry.
The Paragon HX Cutter will debut at the 2015 China International Sewing Machinery and Accessories (CISMA) Show – the largest in the world – in Shanghai from 23-26 September. The event features pre-sewing, sewing and after-sewing equipment, CAD/CAM, spare parts and accessories which cover the entire garment production process.
Productivity improvements to the system's Cut-Ticketing Process, which connects data from the AccuMark system through the spreader and to the cutter, will be demonstrated at the show.
Gerber will also showcase its YuniquePLM product lifecycle management software and AccuMark 10, the integrated CAD pattern design, grading, marker making and production planning software.
