US: New fit tool to help boost online fashion sales

A new fit tool has been launched to help online clothing retailers increase brand loyalty and reduce return rates by helping shoppers find the best size and style for their body shape.
The FiT solution from Mipso Ltd allows consumers to incorporate their body dimensions and preferences into the buying process. Once a FiT ID has been created, users can shop with all retailers that have the FiT button incorporated into their ecommerce sites.
The technology then matches the shopper with only those garments that will fit them on the retailer's site.
