Leading British high street budget fashion retailer, New Look Group Plc, said on Tuesday that like-for-like sales in the two months to January 12 rose 8.8 per cent and said gross margins were six per cent higher. In a statement, the company said it expected it's full-year profits to beat market expectations and added that like-for-like-sales rose 8.2 per cent in the 16 week period, with margins 4.5 per cent higher. City experts had expected festive growth of around two per cent.
