A new software solution claims to reduce new product development cycles by collating and delivering key technical, product and scheduling information, as well as financial data.

The Collection Management solution for clothing and consumer goods manufacturers, launched by California-based Centric Software, has already been piloted by Italy-based Artsana.

Artsana, a global supplier of children's clothing, toys and family care products, now plans to use Collection Management and other Centric products across all worldwide operations and brands.

The system is designed to collect information from many disparate sources, enabling people to make decisions on issues as they arise, improving communications between teams and assessing performance quickly and easily.

Centric Software chief executive Chris Groves said Collection Management addressed the most urgent needs of clothing and consumer goods manufacturers and would accelerate business processes.
