Customs chiefs today revealed the value of Taiwan's exports of textiles plunged almost 30 per cent to $659 million last month from the $296m registered in the year-ago period. According to official statistics, exports of yarn and fabric by value fell 32.5 per cent in February to $453m, garment exports slid 14 per cent to $93.5m, while overseas orders for other textile products plunged 22 per cent to $109m.
