US: New York & Co sees wider Q2 losses

Apparel retailer New York & Company Inc says it expects to widen its second quarter losses after seeing flat same-store sales and higher promotions in recent weeks.

The retailer, which operates 581 women's wear stores, forecasts flat comparable store sales and a 900 basis points drop in merchandise margins during the quarter.
