First-half sales at women's fashion retailer Noni B Ltd will be at least 10 per cent higher than the $44 million reported in the same period last year the company said today.

For the six months to 31 December profit after tax is expected to be 20-30 per cent higher than the $2.3 million achieved last time.

"Our strong sales growth rate in the first quarter has continued into the second quarter, and trading to date has been excellent," Noni B managing director David Kindl said.

Sales growth at the company's 165 stores has been boosted by marketing programs for its Noni B and Liz Jordan brands as well as warm spring weather.
