Retailer Nordstrom is recalling its Cadence-Lea and Trio-Lea girl's sandals over fears that the flower embellishments on the sandals can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.

The company said no injuries have been reported, and that about 1,500 units have been sold.

The sandals, which were made in China, have attached leather flowers and come in white, light green or silver.

They were sold exclusively at Nordstrom stores nationwide from March 2008 through May 2008 for about $30.
