Fashion retailer Old Navy, part of Gap Inc, has introduced a Women's Plus range aimed at women sized 16-26.

The line, which will contain items all priced at $46 or under, will include a range of fits such as "low rise" and "just below the waist".

The brand is designed to flatter larger figures, and contains details such as "stretch" fit to ensure comfort.

Jonathon Finn, Director of Old Navy Public Relations said: "Women told us they wanted plus size fashion that fits well, looks great and is priced right.

"We're pleased to be able to deliver on this with the launch of our new Women's Plus line."
