Footwear retailer Payless ShoeSource's three guest designers are taking to the catwalk with their new creations during New York Fashion Week.

Laura Poretzky, Lela Rose and Stacey Bendet are providing previews to their Spring '09 Designer Collections, available from the retailer from February next year at an average price of below US$45 per item.

Meanwhile, the designers' autumn collections - Abaete for Payless, Lela Rose for Payless and Alice + Olivia for Payless - will be available from 9 September from selected Payless stores and at payless.com.

"This is a unique programme: we don't limit the designers' creativity and are committed to delivering hot-off-the-runway looks for less to consumers, season after season," said LuAnn Via, president and CEO of Payless. "The designers benefit as well, gaining a new platform for their creativity and broad access to their designs."
