US: Perry Ellis taps Demandware for e-commerce growth
By Katie Smith | 18 April 2012
Apparel firm Perry Ellis International has selected Demandware's Commerce platform to help drive online growth across its multiple brands and channels.
The move comes after the company launched new ecommerce and mobile commerce sites in late 2011 for four of its key brands, including Cubavera, Original Penguin, Rafaella and Perry Ellis.
"Since launching on Demandware Commerce, we are seeing improved customer satisfaction and KPIs across all four sites from the ability of customers to refine their searches to ease of checkout," said Michelle Macgallon, VP of digital commerce for Perry Ellis International.
Demandware will replace the apparel firm's legacy platform.
