BRAZIL: Polo Ralph Lauren Cashes In On Growing Women's Market
Polo Ralph Lauren is to sell its high-end women's ranges, Black Label and Collection, in Brazil from April, Jornal da Tarde reported. The decision to launch these lines in Brazil was taken after the company saw that the female clothing market was going through a period of growth. Laura Ribeiro, the marketing director for Ralph Lauren in Brazil, said that the company has done business in Brazil for ten years now and the feminine segment comprises 30 per cent of its registered sales.
