Slipper manufacturer RG Barry Corp announced on Monday that its president and COO, Bill Lenich, had quit and its chairman and CEO, Gordon Zacks, will take over his duties and responsibilities.

In a statement, the Ohio-based company said Lenich had left to "pursue other opportunities" and it has no plans to hold a search for a president.

"Bill made significant contributions during the time he was with us, and we appreciate his efforts," Zacks commented. "He is leaving to pursue other opportunities, and we wish him the best."

He added corporate executive vice president of sales, Tom Coughlin, would broaden his role and was now corporate executive vice president of sales and marketing.
