JAPAN: Promotions drive Uniqlo May same store rise

Same store sales at Uniqlo’s Japan stores were up by 3.1% in May, boosted by aggressive sales promotions, including a campaign to mark the company’s 26th anniversary.

Meanwhile, sales at Uniqlo’s own stores were up 11.1%, while total sales – which also includes online revenues – rose 11.2%.
