Sportswear company Puma has agreed with the Czech Football Association to extend a contract between them first initiated in 1996.

The extension means Puma can remain the official supplier of all field, sideline, training and representation apparel and equipment to all Czech FA-associated National Teams.

"The long-term partnership with the Czech National Team has been instrumental in the continued positive development of the Puma brand in the Czech Republic", said Jochen Zeitz, Puma CEO and chairman.

The Czech Republic is one of the 12 Puma teams that will be represented at the 2006 FIFA World Cup football tournament.
