Police are hunting raiders who escaped with a huge haul of designer clothing and footwear worth £500,000 from a warehouse near Manchester.

The thieves disabled CCTV spy cameras before stealing the 18,000 items which included expensive Levi jeans and Nike trainers from a trailer parked at a Bolton distribution centre on Sunday night.

Police say they believe the raiders will attempt to sell the haul at markets and in pubs, while warehouse chiefs have put up a £10,000 rewards for information leading to the thieves' arrest.
