FRANCE: Ralph Lauren to open Paris store

US fashion company Polo Ralph Lauren is to open its latest store on Paris' Boulevard Saint German next Thursday (15 April).

The 13,000 sq ft (3,960 sq m) store will feature an assortment of Ralph Lauren collections as well as the company's first restaurant in Europe - 'Ralph's.'

Ralf Lauren posted third quarter profit up 5.7% to US$111m from US$105m in the same period last year.

Net income for the first nine months of the year rose 1% to $365m from $362m last time.
