USA: Ross Stores Inc Announces New General Counsel

Apparel retailer Ross Stores Inc has announced the appointment of Mark S Askanas to the position of general counsel and senior vice president, human resources. Askanas will succeed Ivy Council who announced her resignation in November in order to pursue other interests. Prior to joining Ross Stores Askanas served as a partner for law firm Jackson, Lewis Schnitzler & Kurpman, specialising in employment and labour law, employee benefits and related litigation
