Retail giant Saks Fifth Avenue Enterprises on Friday announced the creation of a customer relationship management division and named Rob Rosenblatt as its head of the new unit.

The company said it had signed up Teradata as provider of CRM support systems for the marketing division.

"This is part of our plan to create the most inviting luxury shopping experience by developing new and innovative products and services that our customer has come to expect from us," said Sheri Wilson-Gray, executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
