Officials at a Tasmania school have been forced to withdraw around 1,500 Chinese-made uniforms from sale after they were copied so exactly they even had the label of the school's former suppliers sewn on them.

Ogilvie High School and the Hobart-based uniform supplier have been left red-faced and forced to apologise at the efficiency of the Chinese factory. The mix-up has also sparked a row over the import of foreign-made school clothing.
